Narcan is a medication used to block the effects of opioids, specifically in the event of an overdose. In this free training hosted by North Rockland Coalition, attendees learned:

• Harm-reduction approaches to high-risk behaviors, and substance misuse
• Protocols for effectively administering Naloxone (Narcan), the life-saving medication developed to help prevent fatal opioid overdoses
• Receive Free Narcan Kit for completing the class
